Whether focused on serious educational and treatment objectives or on group recreation, the programs offered at the Joe Dumars' s Team and Leadership Center are designed to maximize human potential and bring teams together.

The options presented on this site for school, youth, and community programs provide broad progressions that have proved successful for thousands of groups. The descriptions should enable group leaders to select a program that will best suite their needs. After choosing a program option, group leaders should arrange to meet with the Team and Leadership Director to complete a needs assessment and establish specific program objectives. The more we know about your group prior to the program, the more the experience can be tailored to its needs.

Note also that many groups have found that a combination of programs rather than one stand-alone offering gives them the best opportunity to achieve the curricular outcomes they are seeking.

Attn: Team building and Ropes Challenge Course ProgramsSchools, youth groups, athletic teams, and community agencies come to the Joe Dumars' Team and Leadership Center for three reasons: 1) to learn about the strategies and philosophy that make Joe Dumars an extraordinary team player and visionary leader; 2) to learn and practice valuable teamwork skills; and 3) to celebrate team successes. Based on the belief that all teams need to practice, the Team and Leadership Center offers a series of programs and services designed to help emerging and establish teams and leaders grow. Our innovative workshops and team building programs in Michigan are designed to be "practice sessions" for workgroups and teams. Utilizing hands-on adventure-based activities, high ropes courses, and climbing walls, our programs reach beyond the classroom and provide practical experience and insights that will have a lasting impact on the way your leaders and team members perform. Based out of the incredible Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse facilties, this is the premiere place to learn and practice team skills, celebrate successes, and have fun! Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse has been the premiere location for pick-up basketball, athletic development programs, and competitive league play—basketball, roller hockey, field hockey, sand/indoor volleyball—since 1995. Youth academies, camps, court rentals, Bayou Adventure, custom events, incredible facility, innovative programs, and a dedicated staff keep individuals, families, community agencies, and corporations coming back time and again.
