Teams need to practice, and practice is what they do at the Team and Leadership Center. Our innovative workshops give hands-on experience to all sorts of teams -- from cooperative ahtletes, youth groups, and community service organizations. Focusing on growth and improvement, our programs build upon a variety of adventure-based activties, from group initiatives and simulations to high ropes and climbing walls. Sessions reach far beyond classroom theory to provide practical experience and valuable insights that will have a lasting impact on the performance of teams and team members.

Teacher Education Workshops
Interested in learning new ways to build community, improve student morale, and teach team work strategies at your school? Introduce Adventure Education into your classroom. A series of one-day to week-long workshops are being offered that help schools take advantage of adventure education. Workshops range from an introduction to adventure education programmming to advanced facilitation skills and ropes course management. For more information, please contact the S.T.E.P.S. Based on the belief that all teams need to practice, the Team and Leadership Center offers a series of programs and services designed to help emerging and establish teams and leaders grow.  Our innovative workshops and team building programs in Michigan are designed to be "practice sessions" for workgroups and teams.  Utilizing hands-on adventure-based activities, high ropes courses, and climbing walls, our programs reach beyond the classroom and provide practical experience and insights that will have a lasting impact on the way your leaders and team members perform. Based out of the incredible Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse facilties, this is the premiere place to learn and practice team skills, celebrate successes, and have fun! Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse has been the premiere location for pick-up basketball, athletic development programs, and competitive league play—basketball, roller hockey, field hockey, sand/indoor volleyball—since 1995. Youth academies, camps, court rentals, Bayou Adventure, custom events, incredible facility, innovative programs, and a dedicated staff keep individuals, families, community agencies, and corporations coming back time and again.
